The student will explore and trace the route of this medication from absorption to elimination in the child, the adult, and the older adult. Compare and contrast the differences and similarities in pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics, pharmacogenetics, and pharmacoeconomics as the individual ages from infancy to childhood, adulthood, and advances to an older age.

Be sure to include a description of basic pharmacokinetic concepts including bioavailability, clearance, half-life, steady state and elimination.
